Me, in a nutshell!

My name is Teresa Brewster and I am the owner of Treasures at the Barn. I run a home-based flower farm, I have an amazing woodshop and I love to tinker in the kitchen too. I’d love to tell you a story about how it all began, but to be honest all of my memories have led me to this point. From blowing air through my thumbs with a grass blade, picking blueberries in June as a kid, helping can tomatoes with my Aunt Helen or living down the street from the Luther Burbank Home and Garden’s in my 20’s….the list goes on and on. I’ve always been fascinated by nature. Flowers outside, wood in the workshop or cultures in my sourdough, it all lends to my curiosity.

Before the craziness of family life, I continued to explore the love of these tiny mysteries of nature while attending Sonoma State University and receiving a bachelor degree in Biology. In addition, I am a professional Dental Hygienist. I’m dedicated to my family and work-life balance, but stay fascinated by flowers growing right outside my front door. My creative desire is fed well by my woodshop creations I can hardly get enough of my sourdough recipes.

I’m currently a member of the ASCFG. My husband of 30 years and our 3 adult kids support every aspect of my small business.

I sell my flowers wholesale and retail to local shops, designers, artists, friends, family and everything in-between. You can find my farmstand fully stocked on Friday and Saturday at 4219 Toyan Dr, Diamond Springs, CA 95619 our off-site location. 8 AM-5:30 PM or later in the Summer.
